A New Venture
At the end of June, I traveled to Seattle for a week to shoot a lot of photo and video content for Mmmhmm Coffee. I am more than happy with the content that I was able to create while I was there. We went to a handful of locations to set up and shoot.
I traveled to Seattle, for the first time, in mid March, fell in love with the city, and felt like I was home within hours of landing at SEA-TAC. After returning to Dallas, I was very heavily considering moving up there next year but had decided not to after weighing out the trade-offs. However, after my most recent trip, I fell even more in love with the city, went back on my previous decision, and have decided that I'm going to be moving up there at the end of January when my lease at my current apartment ends.
This will be a big leap of faith for me and a big change. I'm really excited about the opportunity though and can hardly wait to live in the Pacific Northwest.
We shot interviews of Jack and Jon, the owners, at Marshall Park. This spot is, at least for now, my favorite place to hang out and watch the sun set. We also shot some time lapses of set up/tear down at a couple locations where they set up their bar. Below is the first video in the series.
I also designed their website and currently manage their site and run their social media. Be sure to check them out at: www.mmmhmmcoffee.com.
I'll be going back up there at the end of September to shoot a wedding as well as some more content for these coffee masters.
